Just shake the bottle, and that's the emulsification process! (no chemical emulsifier in it, how nice is that?!)
It's not extremely foaming, however, it lathers-up really nicely to remove your makeup!!! You can feel it deep cleaning (also works great with the Clarisonic).
You can use it to remove eye makeup, seriously- it DOES NOT burn or sting your eyes (however, Healthy Cleanse for Oily Skin should NOT be used around the eyes because it contains Salicylic Acid and Tea Tree Oil).
Even removes waterproof eye makeup (mascara, liner, etc.) and again it DOES NOT sting!
Look at the difference between my left eye and my right! Removed it all!!
